Confirmation preparation there are just a few reminders:

1. Attendance at Mass is extremely important and an obligation that does not end when the school year does. Your child will be granted a total of 10 missed masses (beginning June 3) in preparation for their reception of Confirmation. Mass attendance is tracked weekly and poor attendance can result in the postponement of the reception of Confirmation.

2. Community Service: Your child will be required to complete an additional 20 hours of Community Service during 7th grade. These hours must be comprised of service to the community, school/sports and Parish. Service to one particular group will not be accepted.  Should your child volunteer at the Villa Marin school ONLY 5 hours of service will be applied to Parish service. Service Hours are Due March 18.
